Spark of Halloween: 5 Last minute Halloween home decor DIY

Hi everyone, in today’s blog I show you 5 easy, cheap, last minute Halloween home decor DIY’s!

1. Coloured Books

What you need:

White, orange and black paper and 3 books.

How to make it:

Take a book and wrap the orange paper around it as if it is the bookcover itself. Repeart this for all 3 books. In my opinion, this looks better when your 3 books are all a different size.

2. Mummy Pillow

What you need:

White pillow, white and black paper, cheesecloth

How to make it:

Cut out 2 big circles from the black paper and 2 little circles from the white paper. Glue them together and put them on the pillow. Twist the cheesecloth around the pillow but make sure to secure the ‘eyes’ of the mummy. Keep twisting the cheesecloth until you find it enough for your mummy.

3. Candles

What you need:

Orange or black thread, LED candles and jars.

How to make it:

Take a jar and some orange thread. Secure the thread to the jar and start twisting it around. You can put a lot of thread around the jar or not. It’s up to you to choose how much you want. To finish the candle jar you have to put a LED candle in the jar.

4. Pumpkin pompom

What you need:

Orange and green thread and a brown string.

How to make it:

Wrap the orange thread around your fingers until you have enough to make a little pompon. Take the thread off your hand and secure it. Take the green thread and make a little steel. Put all the pumpkins together on a brown string.

5. Quote picture frames

What you need:

Picture frames and Halloween printables

How to make it:

Print our some Halloween printables, I got mine from Today’s Creative Life and Kiki & Company Put them in a picture frame and you’re ready!
