Favourites of the month: July 2017

Hi guys, today I want to show you what my favourites are for this month. I’ll talk about products, series, movies, … so let’s get into it!

Birthday presents

My first favourite is Lady Million perfume from Paco Rabanne. I got it for my birthday from my boyfriend, and I am in love with it. I also have the body lotion. They both smell amazing. Next up are some chokers, I avoided the whole choker trend, but now I’m totally into it. I have three favourite chokers from Primark. The first one is a white lace choker, and the second one is a black choker with a gold circle in the middle. And the last one is a grey velvet choker with a little diamond in the middle. Staying with accessories, I really love this black sports watch that I also got for my birthday. It’s not that cute or anything, but it comes in very handy because it measures your heart rate, count steps and it show notifications from your phone like a WhatsApp message.

If you like it, wear it!

Moving on to clothing, I really like a satin bomber jacket it’s an orange colour, it’s from Pimkie. It’s really soft, and it takes your outfit to another level. Staying with clothing, my next favourite is pants from Zara; I want to wear them all the time. The stripes make your legs longer. It’s also high rise, so it covers the belly. You can dress it up and look real fancy or dress it down and be very casual. One of my favourites this month is also my new bikini, it’s black and white but also has a little pink in it. I really love it, and it’s very comfortable.

Beauty

I have one beauty favourite this month. I have this product for a long time now, but I just started using it a lot. It’s the ‘every day oil elixir’ from Gliss Kur, it is for damaged and dry hair. It makes my hair soft. Because I go swimming a lot, my hair sometimes feels weird, and this product just prevents that from happening. It takes good care of your hair and it is very affordable.

You read some, you watch some

The next favourite is a book by Mary Kubica, I read it in dutch, and the title is ‘Bevroren’ which means ‘Frozen’ in English. The title of the english version is ‘the good girl’. I really love her books and I can’t stop reading this one so be sure to check that out if that’s possible. My second favourite book for this month is a travel guide for Milan. It’s called ‘Time to momo Milaan’. It is a Dutch travel guide. They made this book in collaboration with people who live in Milan!

Another favourite of mine is a series I’m watching: Chasing Life. It’s about a girl with cancer but before you roll your eyes… It is amazing! It’s so beautiful, and if you know anyone with cancer, this series helps you understand better with what he or she is dealing with. Unfortunately, they cancelled the series. There is only one and a half season which I think is a real bummer. The makers of the series clearly didn’t think about the series being really helpful to them who know someone with cancer. I guess it’s all about the money with series and not about helping people. But I advise people to watch the series even though it stops at a weird moment. It really opens your eyes.

So those are my favourites of this month, let me know what you think of them. If you have watched Chasing Life let me know what you think about the series or the cancellation, as the only one from my friends and family who watched the series it’s hard not to be able to talk about it like I could with Pretty Little Liars!

  1. These are all lovely! I especially love those pants… I like high rise pants because they make my legs look longer as well!! And stripes 🙂 and YES to Chasing Life!!! I watched that just after my son was born and was so sad to see it end. It definitely ended abruptly and I would check for another season all the time lol! It was so good!!

    • Thank you so much 🙂 The pants are so comfortable, I highly recommend them! And yes, I agree about Chasing Life ending abruptly 🙁 I was so sad when it ended and I wasn’t satisfied with the way it ended … It was such a good series!
